Hello TennisManagers!

Today we are proud to announce that Hot Duels, a brand-new feature, are now live on the server with Beta v20. With the Hot Duels system, you pick one of your players, stake some Advantage Balls, and throw the challenge out. Other managers can respond to your challenge with their own players and AB stakes, so pick who you want to duel, and may the best player win. But remember that in a Hot Duel, the winner takes all!

We’ll be gradually building up the Hot Duels system with more interesting stats and features, so head to the forums and let us know what you think, and what you’d like to see added. And if you’d like to organise a mini Hot Duels league, we’ll make sure there are big prizes for the top winners (as well as something for the hard-working organiser)!

In other news, we’ve got the new Top Ten Managers table on the home page, plus the ability to register and log in with your Facebook account! Tell your friends on Facebook to come and check us out, it’s easier than ever before to get in to the game!

Inside the club, we’ve shortened training times a bit (one of the most popular requests), so that your players’ shot and physical skills will improve more noticeably, and we’ve reduced the minimum times for making challenges from 48 hours to 24, and accepting challenges from 24 hours to 12. Friendlies and player-run tournaments should now be a little easier to schedule.
Looking ahead to the future, we’re on course to leave the Beta behind us and enter the first full version of TennisManager this summer! We know where the final few bugs are, we’ve got the last few missing features ready to go (such as the Fan Club system), and we’re going to fill the leagues with more active human managers. Get ready friends, 2012 is going to be big!

Changed:
